The S440 Power Optimiser MC4 by SolarEdge is a power optimizer that maximizes the yield from each individual solar panel at panel level. With partial shading, soiling, or panels at different orientations, solar panels perform unevenly. Without optimizers, the weakest panel limits the entire string. With a SolarEdge optimizer, each panel operates independently at its maximum power point (MPPT).
