Your pannelli solari produce elettricità during the day, but you use most of that elettricità in the evening. In most cases, a batteria is smarter than extra panels. More panels increase your production, but don't solve the timing problem. A batteria stores the surplus you've already produced for use when you need it.

Check whether your current inverter has a DC batteria input. If so, you can often add a batteria without replacing the inverter. If not, there are two options: an accoppiato in AC plug-and-play batteria, or replacing the inverter with a hybrid version.
